About

I'm Karen of Belton Blooms, based in rural Leicestershire. I grow for pleasure & wellbeing (and the bees & butterflies!) rather than profit, sharing my flowers with family & friends as well as our lovely village church. In my modest garden plot I grow a variety of flowers & foliage for cutting and enjoy creating natural designs which reflect the changing seasons. Please note that I only grow for my own use and not for wholesale or retail. I hold small, relaxed workshops at home where I love to share my knowledge & skills and help guests be creative. I am passionate about the positive impact flowers & gardens have on mental health and wellbeing. I offer talks & demonstrations to local groups promoting British flowers, foam free floristry and the benefits to your wellbeing from being immersed in flowers and nature. I'm a proud supporter of Flowers From The Farm and I am the Regional Co-Ordinator for the East Midlands. I also manage the National Event Diary on the FFTF website.
